Yes, there are parking bays right outside the door, and we have a forecourt in which to turn around your vehicle.
We don’t have what you might call a customer-facing toilet on-site because, unlike a garden centre, our customers tend to visit, buy what they need, then leave.
If you have a disability, we’d like to help you as much as we can. Please feel free to call ahead to check suitability for your mobility aids or to request assistance from one of our team. We have a designated Disabled Parking space right outside the store.
The whole store is on one level, but some doorways and passageways are narrow, which may make access difficult for some mobility scooters. The ground is uneven in places, and parts of the store may be a challenge to navigate if you find it difficult to walk unaided. There is one step up to the offcuts store.
The doors are often open, which can make the place quite chilly if you are sitting still for a long period of time, so we would recommend dressing accordingly.

We are closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, so we can celebrate with our family and friends.
Our local delivery service is free. Have purchases delivered to your home, work, site or neighbour.
Your delivery address will need to be in one of the following postcode areas: NG13, NG14, NG22, NG23, NG24, NG25, NG32, LN5 or LN6.
For local deliveries, there is no minimum order value. We make so many deliveries locally that we can afford not to charge, even if your order is only one small item.
If you’re based in Newark, we often deliver on the same day. However, we cannot guarantee this as it depends on staff availability and walk-ins at the store. Otherwise, expect delivery to take 2-3 days. Our delivery time slots are as follows. Monday to Friday: from 8am to midday, then 1pm – 4.30pm. Weekend deliveries are on Saturday morning only, from 8am to 11am.
Yes, we can deliver most large items. And, our vans are small enough to access most driveways and site entrances. Some of our fleet have cranes built in, to enable bulk bags to often be placed where you need them.
We will always endeavour to deliver on the date requested, but unfortunately, we cannot guarantee it. To keep prices as keen as possible, as well as free delivery, deliveries have to be planned so they are logistically viable. If you need to know before ordering, please call us. If the delivery date on your Order Acknowledgement states ‘TBC – Next time in area’, delivery dates will be confirmed by phone.

If you’re outside the local delivery postcode areas we serve, we can arrange delivery at an extra charge.
This depends upon the size and weight of the items you order. Mail order delivery costs start from £10.00, including VAT. We operate multiple bands of delivery charges to make it as cost-effective as possible. The delivery charge will be calculated for you at the point of purchase.
Orders submitted and paid for before midday (12 Noon) will be dispatched the same day or the day before your requested delivery date.
Orders placed after this time will be dispatched the next working day.
Orders placed after midday (12 Noon) on Friday will be dispatched the following Monday.
If viable, one of our own vans will deliver. Otherwise, our couriers, Parcelforce or DX Freight, will deliver your goods.

Yes, we often assist customers with knowing how much they will need for a particular project. Just bring some measurements and as much information with you as you can, so we can calculate it for you.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition as when you received it, unused, and with its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. The only exception is items or products that have been cut to size.
We operate as a normal retail outlet, so you don't have to have an account to purchase from us. Many businesses even find it more convenient to use company credit cards to purchase from us. Due to the nature of the products we sell, to avoid injury or accidents, children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Some products we sell contain chemicals, and we also sell tools and items that have sharp edges.
